Women and girls around the world are suffering in unspeakable ways, simply because they are female.

For those of us in the United States, it's difficult to relate to the abuse and persecution they face on a daily basis. But once we are made aware, how can we stand by and do nothing?

Heart of Mercy Mission was established in 2019 as the humanitarian arm of Christian Women in Media Association after Suellen Roberts visited developing countries and saw the suffering firsthand. She wanted to put heartfelt compassion into action and give hope to the hopeless...feeding them, loving them, and leading them to Jesus. Only His powerful hope can lift them up above their circumstances, giving inner peace in the midst.

current initiative: TWO PILOT PROJECTS IN BRAZIL

NEVER ALONE INITIATIVE

God opened the door for HEART OF MERCY MISSION to bring new skill training to develop an economy to help widows support themselves and a curriculum to understand and overcome the grief of loss in the poorest areas near a capital city as well as with an indigenous tribe IN BRAZIL. The absolute joy on the faces of those involved is a true demonstration of PURE RELIGION as they see that THEY HAVE NOT BEEN FORGOTTEN BY THEIR CREATOR.

How faithful is our God to supply what we needed to begin the first two pilot projects. The desire to help widows discover their value in their communities is great. Many others are waiting their turn to sit at a SEWING MACHINE or in the TALKING CIRCLE where they share their deepest feelings.

4 month separate curriculums written and published for sewing and scriptural grief counseling given to each widow

War-Torn Ukranian Refugees

Our Heart of Mercy Mission partners are in three Ukrainian cities right now demonstrating their sacrificial and tireless service day and night for the women and children God has brought their way.

This winter stoves are needed to supply a place to cook and to provide heat to survive freezing temperatures. Although many have moved away from helping in Ukraine because of political and media stories, the widows and their children still have needs. What a blessing it is to help provide for these dear ones in Ukraine.
